something smells good!!


My favorite dish in the world are the “porotos granados con bistec” that in english can be traslate how: beans with a piece of steak.
The origens of these dish are chilean. In the firts days of the colonial thit was want of staple of the populace people of Chile. The people eat with dried meat and onion.
Actuality the preparation of the “porotos “ is diferent, because they incorporate corn and other condiments. To prepare this dish for four people you need:
- 1 Kg of white beans.
- 2 corns.
- 1 little spoon of fat.
- 1 tomato
- 1 onion.
- ¼ pumpkin.
- ½ garlic glove.
- Cumin.
- Salt and pepper.
- 4 steak of meat.
Preparation:
Wash the White beans, Clean and take out the shell of the pumpkin leaving it whole. Take out the Shell and cut in Little square the tomato. Cut the onion and the garlic in small square.Fry the onion, the garlic with the fat and tomato. Dress with salt, pepper and cumin.
In a pot put de beans, with the garlic and water until the top of the ingredients. Cook until the beans come soft. Grim the garlic. Grate the corn into the pot.
Add the first preparation to the pot. Cook and stir for 10 minutes.
Cook the steak of meat in a pan.
And you have a really Chilean and very delicios dish of “porotos con bistec”!
When i como back from my Exchange in Belgium, that was my firts dish…mmmm ñami
